CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding CySec Licensed Investment Firm, we are seeking to recruit an experienced In House Lawyer to join to join their team of professionals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advise and provide assistance to the Board of Directors of the Company.
• Provide internal legal advice and guidance to all the members of the Company with regards to any legal matter that may arise.
• Provide legal advice and assistance on the legality of the Company’s business affairs and practices.
• Ensure the Company’s compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
• Conduct research and evaluate possible risks in order to safeguard the Company.
• Assess, draft, revise, negotiate and conclude legal agreements and/or provide legal advice and opinions for such agreements and for any projects the Company might be involved.
• Research and be informed of all applicable regulations as issued and updated from time to time by any respective authority either national or international.
• Undertake the duties of: Secretary of the Board, Data Protection Officer and Alternate AMLCO of the Company.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Law Degree and Qualified by the Cyprus Bar Association.
• CySec Advanced Certificate is advantageous.
• Fluent knowledge of the English language. Any additional languages will be advantageous.
• Experience in the financial services industry in any institution recognized by CySEC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills and well-developed problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitasking.
• Leadership Skills.
