Financial Accountant (660/HRS)
Limassol
The company
A leading Group of Companies in the Financial Services Sector, based in Limassol.
Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a challenging position and evolution within a multinational environment. Main responsibilities include:
• Financial and regulatory reporting and statutory bookkeeping
• Monitoring compliance in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulatory framework
• Supervision and coordination of external accountants, with ability to review and process financial statements under IFRS
• Liaison with external auditors during annual audits, preparation of management accounts and due diligence
Profile of the ideal candidate
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) will be considered a plus
• Prior experience with group structures will be considered a plus
• High calibre, self-motivated, ability to work with limited supervision with a diversified multinational team
• Solid analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent communication skills in English and Greek
• Flexible to travel in South East and Central Europe
