Our client is looking to hire an Interior Designer / Accessories Buyer for their team in Nicosia to oversee and manage all aspects of the budget planning, design, sourcing and procurement of high-end home accessories for large-scale hotel and commercial property developments.
Responsibilities:
Create design schematic and budget estimate outlining the locations across the property, the type of accessory and associated budgets
Source exceptional interior design objects and home accessories (textiles, objets d'art, candle holders, hurricanes, vessels, coffee table books, etc.) which synergise with both the Company's Art Program and the overall "look" of the property
Work with Graphic Design Team to create client presentations and implement changes in review rounds
Develop and negotiate vendor contracts
Manage the procurement, consolidation and logistics of all items from invoicing through to the final delivery to site.
Ensure all elements of the project run smoothly and ensure project is on-time and in-budget.
Skills:
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Interior Design preferably with a business related background:
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple, complex projects
Experienced in high-pressure situations
Interested in art (although no expertise necessary)
Excellent communication skills (ability to interact and present ideas as well as communicate by telephone and email with clients and suppliers)
Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and client
Fluent in English (writing included)
Prior knowledge of the following would be very useful:
Microsoft Excel (including advanced features)
G Suite (Google Sheets and Docs)
The working hours are Monday - Friday from 10am till 6.30pm
The salary is dependent on experience plus medical insurance
