Our Company is Cyprus Investment Firm providing independent and personalized investment solutions for individuals and institutions. We are looking for an Accountant / Back Officer to join its professional team in Nicosia.

Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Making updates in General Ledger and Analytical Accounting system;

·         Supporting purchases of fixed assets, consumables and services by making payments and conducting relations with suppliers and service providers;

·         Issuing invoices for the services rendered;

·         Preparing monthly payroll;

·         Preparing and composing financial reports and management accounts on regular basis;

·         Updating and administering the Back Office Electronic database with information required by local statute for the Company’s clients and counterparties;

·         Making calculations and reimbursement of expenses pertaining to securities operations of the Company’s clients;

·         Recording entries connected with funds and securities held by the Company’s clients in the Back Office electronic database and/or in the Company’s books as required;

·         Performing end of month reconciliations of the Company’s clients’ funds and securities with custodians/depositaries/banks as well as end of the month reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts;

·         Reviewing reports sent to Company’s clients’ about their funds and securities;

·         Performing transactions with the Company’s banks as instructed by Management;

·         Performing capital transactions in the Company’s financial accounts;

·         Documenting financial transactions as per local GAAP.

Qualification and other Essential Requirements:

·         Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related subject.

·         Qualification in accounting such as ACCA, ACA or similar will be considered an advantage.

·         Working experience as an Accountant/Back Officer in Cyprus Investment Company.

·         Experience in opening and maintaining client’s accounts (including KYC and compliance matters) is essential.

·         Fluency in oral and written English, knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.

·         Eligibility to work in Cyprus.
