Chase Buchanan are an international wealth management firm based in Limassol. We are currently recruiting for the business development manager sales role within the firm. Based in the Limassol office of Cyprus, close to the Limassol municipal garden, the sales role involves contacting potential prospects internationally by telephone and email on behalf of the firm to arrange introductory calls, face to face meetings or follow up calls for the companies’ consultants and advisers.
The successful candidate will be the initial point of reference for customers and colleagues alike with the goal being successfully enhancing the sales performance of the company. The business development manager is expected to build a prospect database from their own sources and from data provided by Chase Buchanan that they can contact those people to discuss the financial services and wealth management solutions offered by the company to our international clients.
Full training and systems will be provided by the firm to enable the business development manager to fulfil their role efficiently and effectively. Chase Buchanan offers business development managers a clear path of career progression to become a consultant/adviser in the future with support to study for and pass internationally recognised finance industry exams to further their careers and enhance their future earnings.
The role is based in the Limassol office in Cyprus so successful candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not already based nearby.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator, business development manager or in other telesales positions will be considered an advantage especially in financial sales;
- Good computer skills (MS Office & Outlook)
- Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Someone seeking a career in or already working within financial services
- A team player with high level of personal drive
Working hours, salary and provisions.
- Basic office hours are 9 until 5 Monday to Friday with one hour break per day for lunch, although occasional calls out of hours may be required where prospects have requested a call back on an evening/weekend.
- Remuneration is a basic living allowance paid monthly of €1,000 for the first three months dropping to €750 per month ongoing plus commission based earnings of 15% from successful sales (earnings uncapped, realistic total earnings in year one of €20,000-€40,000). You will be on a self-employed contract and are therefore responsible for filing your own tax returns and social insurance, etc.
