Our client is a well-established investment firm that is currently looking to add to their team a Market Analyst. The right candidate will have relevant experience and  strong knowledge of the financial markets. It is also crucial to have passion for creating content as well as being updated regarding the financial markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write daily market reports for website and distribute amongst journalists covering macro-economic and share market news
  • Author content marketing articles for publication on financial news websites
  • Build relationships with journalists and the media
  • Present webinars and seminars for clients and partners
  • Send analysis emails to clients using email management software
  • Add content to the website using content management system (CMS)
  • Work with graphic designers and a videographer to create trading videos
  • Record video market updates for social media
  • Give live television and radio interviews
  • Ad hoc tasks for company website and marketing materials

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong understanding of economics and financial analysis
  • Understanding of technical analysis, ideally qualified with IFTA, MTA or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Preferably fluent in another European language- French, Spanish or German (verbal and written)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Media training desirable
  • Use of core SEO concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and able to work at a consistently high standard
