Our client is a leading provider of insurance service in Cyprus. They are currently in process of expanding their team and they’re seeking to hire a Technical Support Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer systems
  • Diagnose and solve hardware & software faults
  • Participate in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate record of hardware and software
  • Provide daily support to requests over the telephone and email for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator of all IT related vendors
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator of all maintenance vendors (Generator, Air-Conditioners, Lifts, Electricians, etc.)
  • Physically Monitor services provided by all vendors
  • Travel to company branches; island-wide, in order to provide support, when and if required
  • Undertake small projects
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problemsolving skills are required for success
  • Receive coaching and feedback to help you further develop your skills

Requirements

  • Technical School Leaving Certificate with concentration in Information Technology. University degree in a related filed will be considered an advantage
  • Hardware and peripherals knowledge
  • Networking & Cisco Telephony knowledge, CCNA Certification will be considered an advantage
  • Windows Server 2008 configuration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Willing to learn new technologies and techniques
