Job Description
On behalf of our client, a fast growing provider of financial services, we are looking for a professional Compliance Officer to join their dynamic team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be involved in compliance functions of the Company and will work closely with the Head of Compliance. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and advance CySEC Certification, are a must.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the company complies according to CySEC regulations
- Providing advice and assistance to employees on AML matters
- Work closely with all departments to ensure compliance is in order
- Keeping up to date with new regulatory policies and inform departments where necessary
- Review and approve marketing material in terms of compliance perspective
- Producing and submitting compliance reports to CySEC
- Assisting with compliance matters in other global offices (UK, Gibraltar)
- Assisting in setting up new compliance departments (Australia, South Africa)
- Assist the Head of Department in updating procedures and manuals
Requirements
- University degree in Law, Economics, Finance or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years' relevant work experience in AML or Compliance
- CySEC Advanced Certification
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Efficiency under pressure and consistency in meeting tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Strong personality skill
