CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a legal firm working to international standards, we are seeking to recruit an entrepreneurial, bright & talented Litigation/Arbitration lawyer to join their firm as Partner responsible for the litigation department.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Using entrepreneurial skills to establish a litigation department within a very successful, modern and dynamic law firm.
- Lead the litigation team, be responsible for hiring associates and trainees in litigation department.
- Lead cases centred around commercial litigation and arbitration, with a focus on cross-border disputes.
- Leverage on the law firm’s existing clientele, international referring global law firms and multinational corporations in establishing relationships for litigation / arbitration services.
- Be responsible from beginning to end of litigation / arbitration cases, including consultation, strategy, execution, hearing and/or settlements.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Entrepreneurial and management skills are essential, given that the successful candidate will create a team around him/her.
- Minimum 7 years experience in commercial litigation field in Cyprus and / abroad, with a focus on cross-border disputes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Loyalty and a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of performing beyond expectations.
