CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an innovative security solutions provider with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a reliable Installation Technician to join their team.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installs security systems, according to the project plans and instructions of the Installation Supervisor.
- Completes all the necessary and related reports and transfers them to Installations Supervisor.
- Reports arising problems with work, to the Installation Supervisor and implements corrective and preventive actions decided.
- Maintains tools and equipment in a good working condition, taking all necessary measures for their protection.
- Responsible on completion of work to receive payment according to the contract.
- Responsible for off peak working hours telephone support as per schedule.
- Responsible for on call off peak working hours per area allocated for.
- Supports Service Department.
- Implements health and safety measures for avoidance of accidents and damages.
- Provides suggestions to the company’s management on possible health and safety risks identified and implements corrective actions decided.
- Makes recommendations to the Managing Director for the improvement of work methods, productivity and quality.
- Executes any other responsibilities assigned by Management and/ or which are specified in the company’s documentation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Technical school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years previous experience in a technical support role.
- Previous experience in Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance is essential.
- Must have excellent time Management: managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Repairing and Maintaining: Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, or testing security systems.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
