Our client, who engages in online retail banking and insurance operations in Russia, is looking for QA specialists to work in the new Cyprus office, in Limassol.
This is an excellent opportunity to get the ground running in a new, yet expanding office in Cyprus. You will work alongside great minds, in a modern and comfortable environment.
Our client have developed a cloud platform WebOffice, which provides all the services, data, tasks and collaboration environment that allows employees to work remotely. Currently the platform is used by 10 000 remote employees on a 24/7-basis, and creates a peak load of 1500 RPS + 5000 real-time connections, processing more than 1.5 million applications per day.
All interested applicants must have relevant experience, be fluent in Russian and English, and have valid EU work permit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual functional testing of web applications and API;
- Design test cases, prepare test data;
- Participate in regression testing;
- Find defects, fix them in the bug-tracking system, monitor correction process;
- Analyze test results;
- Work in an Agile team, actively interact with analysts, developers and testers – directly and without bureaucracy;
- Continuously develop your skills and expertise.
Candidate profile:
- Strong knowledge of theory, principles and methodology of testing;
- Strong knowledge of web-based applications and API testing, experience of work as functional tester in commercial projects for a year or more;
- Understanding of software architecture principles and application development process;
- Experience of work in Agile-team;
- Strong skills in writing test documentation according to project functionality;
- Keen knowledge of bug-tracking systems (we use JIRA);
- Keen knowledge of SQL (experience with no-SQL databases considered a plus);
- Knowledge of SoapUI, Postman, Mongo, experience in SoapUI, Postman automation considered a plus;
- Fluency in the Russian language (both written and spoken);
- Enthusiasm to get deeper into the business context, understand the tasks and problems of users and strive to make truly useful products;
- Readiness for dynamic work;
- Holder of a valid Cyprus residence and work permit.
